The nervous system is the one of the most complex systems in the human body, any neoplastic growth inside the nervous system will cause compression or destruction of nearby neural tissue in variable degrees. Reversible or permanent neurological conditions such as convulsions, dysphasia, paralysis, changes in mental status, etc. can be resulted from tumors growing inside the nervous system.
Cranial surgery or simply “brain surgery” is a scary term to talk about for most people, however, the percentage of having serious sequela after cranial surgery is actually quite low nowadays.
