* Reminder from Dr. Wang:

Accompanied by an increase in life expectancy, the elderly population is increasing rapidly in Taiwan. However, this does not mean that the remaining healthy life expectancy is also extended. The elderly often face multiple illnesses and medications, and are susceptible to geriatric syndromes such as dementia, delirium, frailty, osteoporosis, and falls. These complex health conditions require more love and patience from the medical team, especially for those with cognitive or hearing impairments. Whether it is you or your family, it is recommended that the seniors exercise regularly, eat a balanced diet, maintain a happy mood and also interpersonal interactions. I hope that everyone can maintain good health as getting older, and realize the goal of healthy aging.
