Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common cancer in Taiwan. Thank for the national CRC screening program, many CRC can be prevented by resection of pre-cancerous adenoma during colonoscopy examination. Furthermore, with the advances of endoscopy treatment, nowadays we can resect large colorectal tumor by endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). In addition to receiving colonoscopy, people can also reduce their own CRC risk in the future by having a good lifestyle, such as doing more exercise and avoiding smoking.
