Because of the longevity of current society, the importance of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson disease, has become more and more acquaintance. Although there is still no cure for these diseases, it’s still beneficial to discovered and diagnosed these patients as early as possible. The earlier patients received optimal medical management or lifestyle modification, the better their quality of life could become. On the other hand, the family could adjust earlier to face the progression of the patient.
These disorders usually progress in a long term. It’s also critical for the relatively healthy population to review the current lifestyle and modify the possible risk factors as professional suggestions. How to reduce the risk of the neurodegenerative diseases and live in a better life is gradually growing into a great issue in the geriatric society.
