* Reminder from Dr. Wong:

There are different types of seizures in children, which include spasms, focal seizures, generalized seizures, etc. A child can experience a seizure under certain circumstances, such as fever, head trauma, and drug abuse. Some seizures are caused by abnormal brain structure or genetic mutation. If you think your child has a‘seizure attack’, do not panic. You can take your child to a pediatric neurologist. The doctor may ask certain important questions and do some tests for your kid. Accurate diagnosis and timely treatment are of paramount importance for a child with a seizure disorder.
