The cornea is formed by transparent collagen lined tightly in high precision, with dense neuro fiber innervation. The transparency and the shape of the cornea determine its visual quality. If the transparency of the cornea decreases or if its shape changes due to excessive dryness, external injury, infection or inflammation, your vision may become unstable, unclear and even severely compromised.
