* Reminder from Dr. Han:

Simple gallbladder stones are mostly asymptomatic, but if the gallstones fall out of the gallbladder, there may result with three serious complications, including cholecystitis, common bile duct stones, and pancreatitis. To avoid the formation of gallbladder stones, the first priority is diet control, and minimize of high-fat food intake. Patients who have gallstones should refrain from ingesting large amount of high-fat food in the same meal to avoid excessive gallbladder contraction, which could cause complications from the gallstones.
