* Reminder from Dr. Liu:

Taiwan shares one of the highest prevalence of myopia all over the world, with about 20% of myopia enrolled in primary school and 90% of myopia in high school. The vision problems of schoolchildren in Taiwan have always been valued by the National Health Department and the Ministry of Education, and it is also a difficult problem for ophthalmologists across the country to confront for a long time. In addition to the efforts of the health and education units, the role of parents themselves is also critical. Parents need to have a correct understanding of the disease and implement the correct vision care concepts into the lives of school children from an early age. At the same time, parents should let their children to accept the check-up and medical assistance from professional ophthalmologists. Only in this way can the children have a bright future!
